Anyone else notice that sometimes when you add a custom meaning to an item, and then input this custom meaning while reviewing the item, that it gets marked incorrect?
I thought the point of the custom meaning was for different custom synonyms to be accepted while reviewing. Why is it so buggy?
Yeah, sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn’t. But it’s definitely quite buggy. Often when I make custom meanings/mnemonics I get a popup error…
It definitely is supposed to work like that 
I keep having the same problem! I’m coming from Wanikani so I keep accidentally using Wanikani radical names and it would be nice to be able to put them in as synonyms.
I believe you can add that though. You’re able to customize the cards, and add your own meanings! So you can add those radical names from Wanikani as alternate meanings. It’s just a very manual process…
